How the Chamber Helps Marion County

Organized in 1953, the Marion County Chamber of Commerce serves as the voice of the county’s business community and initiates progressive action on major issues affecting the well-being of those businesses. The chamber provides leadership and support to all businesses in the area. The MCCC is a not-for-profit organization supported by investments from more than 450 member businesses and other contributions to chamber programs. Chamber staff and volunteers plan and implement numerous business and community events that enhance the quality of life for everyone in Marion County. Numerous chamber committees focus on key issues that directly impact the county’s business community.

Mission Statement

The Marion County Chamber of Commerce shall provide leadership to improve the economic environment and to enhance the quality of life in Marion County. The Marion County Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer organization that focuses on the economic well being and quality of life in Marion County and North Central West Virginia. We are a private sector, non-profit organization that is supported by its members, membership investments, and by various Chamber programs. Our program of work is accomplished through a number of committees with member volunteers participating who have a direct impact on Chamber positions and influence community actions.
