Marion County Chamber of Commerce Announces Appointment of New President, Dani DeVito
The Marion County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the appointment of Dani DeVito as its next President, following a unanimous vote of approval by the Chamber’s Board of Directors. DeVito brings a wealth of experience in business development, strategic leadership, and community engagement, and will officially begin her role on June 2nd.
A longtime advocate for economic growth and collaboration, DeVito steps into the position at a time of opportunity and momentum for Marion County. As President, she will lead the Chamber’s mission to support local businesses, foster innovation, and serve as a catalyst for regional prosperity.
“I’m deeply honored to step into this role and lead the Marion County Chamber of Commerce at such a pivotal time,” said Dani DeVito, newly appointed President of the Marion County Chamber of Commerce. “This community is filled with innovation, resilience, and pride—and I’m committed to building on that foundation to support our local businesses and create new opportunities for growth.”
The Chamber conducted an extensive search for its next leader, seeking a candidate who understands the needs of the local business community and who can strengthen public-private partnerships throughout the region. DeVito’s proven track record of leadership, her dynamic vision, and her strong relationships across sectors made her the clear choice.
“From the moment Dani walked into the room, her passion for Marion County and her vision for the Chamber were evident,” said Chad Nuzum, Chair of the Chamber’s Board of Directors. “She brings the right mix of energy, experience, and leadership, and we are thrilled to welcome her as our next President.”
DeVito comes from ShalePro, where she helped drive initiatives in workforce development, marketing, and organizational growth. Her leadership style is known to be inclusive, energetic, and results-oriented—qualities that align closely with the Chamber’s values. She’s also been heavily involved in the community as past President of the Board of Directors at Tygart Valley United Way.
As President, DeVito will also focus on expanding membership, enhancing programming, and elevating the Chamber’s advocacy efforts for the local business environment.
